Relaunching an architectural masterpiece as a social enterprise

The Monaro Centre \ Brand, Launch & Marketing

Objective

To provide consultation and collaboration in the relaunching of an architectural masterpiece as a social enterprise for the Cann Valley community.

The brief was to develop the strategic marketing plan and social enterprise infrastructure to sure-up the newly restored Monaro Centre as a sustainable community asset, tourism destination and event space with long-term financial and functional sustainability.

Strategy

Through collaboration with the Cann Valley District Representative Committee (CVDRG) and other local stakeholders, Neonormal designed and implemented a new brand identity showcasing the uniqueness of The Monaro Centre, via a simple to execute tool kit for success.

The toolkit consisted of brand assets, marketing collateral, photography + videography library and social enterprise infrastructure (website, booking systems, templates etc) to develop content that showcased the history, feel and significance of the Cann Valley’s best built asset and made for commercial viability long-term.

Results

The Monaro Centre successfully launched as an economically sustainable community event space and tourism draw card for the Cann Valley community.

Bookings are consistent, easily managed and mutually beneficial for the community and visitors alike. Financially, overheads and maintenance are covered while the community owned centre contributes to the social fabric and economic success of the region.
