When Melbourne Racing Club (MRC) approached us to bring to life their idea of ‘Summer-cool with a racing twist’, we jumped right in to help them out.

Working closely with MRC, Bondi Sands, and beverage partner Moët, Neonormal designed, built and managed a luxe on-ground experience that turned the racecourse into a pop-up pool party – complete with DJ on deck, cocktails by the pool and live aquatic acrobat performances – all under the watch of our pool party lifeguards.

Eminently Instagrammable, our striking Bondi Sands Pool Party became one of the hottest destinations of Melbourne’s summer. It was the talk of the town on social and mainstream media — making waves in summer social calendars and reinforcing the idea that MRC is definitely ‘Just Not Racing.’
