Infiniti’s mission is to empower humans with technology, challenge and break conventions and boldly innovate to create the future. So sponsoring the rustic, regional Mornington Peninsula Picnic event seemed like an unusual pairing.
Luckily, Adam D’Sylva — head chef of Coda and Tonka and Infiniti Ambassador — knows a thing or two about creating bold combinations.
We designed an integrated campaign — building pre-event anticipation through social content and online engagement — inviting guests to book an exclusive seat at the Infiniti Table.
Adam D’Sylva hosted a cooking masterclass for hundreds of spectators, showcasing unusual combinations and bold flavours to inspire and empower their food journeys. VIPs and winners sat down at three exclusive, custom-built tables designed to provoke, challenge and connect them.
We gave ‘Q Cards’ to the audience containing thought-provoking questions, encouraging them to share personal stories and insights with strangers, pushing them past their comfort zones.
As they connected around the table and throughout the crowd, sharing food and new concepts, Adam served up three incredible dishes paired with local Peninsula wines.
When guests sat down at the Infiniti Table, they were strangers. When they got up, they were connected by a beautifully curated shared experience — walking away more empowered to break conventions and take bold risks.
