In 2016, Melbourne Music Week’s Hub was located at the State Library of Victoria. City of Melbourne presented Neonormal with the challenge of connecting contemporary musical artists with the history and heritage of the beautiful State Library of Victoria.

We were inspired by a timeless medium — paper, a material that celebrates the creative journey, from written words to musical lyrics. Using paper in innovative ways meant we were able to create intimate spaces as well as design an environment that felt cohesive, whilst existing in harmony with the MMW festival identity.
